Jessica joined Inflexion in 2015 as a Research Associate. Prior to joining Inflexion, she worked in the Center for Assessment and Research Studies (CARS) at James Madison University. In this role, her duties included: consultation with general education, academic programs, and student affairs programs on all aspects of the assessment cycle; rating and providing feedback to academic programs on their assessment processes; coordination, implementation, and data management for the university-wide assessment day; and training of new graduate assistants. She also worked in program evaluation for five years at Edvantia Inc. and McREL International. In this role, she was responsible for the development of research and evaluation plans and protocol; project task coordination; instrument development; qualitative and quantitative data collection, management and analysis; and formative and summative report writing. Clients have included federal government, state governments, local and regional education agencies, foundations, universities, and nonprofits. Jessica holds an AS degree in business administration and a BA in psychology from the University of Charleston. She also holds an MA in industrial/organizational psychology from Appalachian State University and a PhD in Assessment and Measurement in Psychology from James Madison University.
