Principal Researcher

Jessica joined Inflexion in 2015 and is a Principal Researcher on the Edulytix team. In her work at Inflexion, she serves as the research lead on projects with key clients such as the International Baccalaureate Organization, the College Board, and the AVID Center. With more than a decade of experience in education research, evaluation, and assessment, she has worked with a variety of clients on diverse educational initiatives. She has specific expertise in the areas of mixed research methodologies, measurement theory, instrument development, advanced quantitative data analysis techniques, using data for continuous improvement, and data equity. Prior to joining Inflexion, she worked in the Center for Assessment and Research Studies (CARS) at James Madison University, as well as serving as an evaluator at Edvantia Inc. and McREL International. Jessica holds an AS degree in Business Administration and a BA in Psychology from the University of Charleston, as well as a MA in Industrial/Organizational Psychology and graduate certification in Human Resource Management from Appalachian State University. She also holds a PhD in Assessment and Measurement in Psychology and Project Management Certification from James Madison University.
